The Richmond Hill City Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all city employee activities. The city manager develops, implements, and administers the city’s policies. The city manager controls the functions of each city department and performs the duties and functions relative to a wide range of city programs and functions. He ensures that the city ordinances, resolutions, and regulations are executed and enforced. The city manager is responsible for developing and administering the city council’s agenda and meetings. He promotes continuous improvement in service delivery to better serve the residents and businesses in Richmond Hill. He informs and educates the public about city’s policies, programs, and activities. The city manager plays a major role in identifying and responding to the community’s needs. He promotes public/private partnerships which contribute to the sustained economic development and a high quality of life in Richmond Hill.
