John W. Stevens Wetlands Education Center
The John W. Stevens Wetlands Education Center is the only center of its kind in Coastal Georgia. The center, located in the rear of J.F. Gregory Park, provides a meeting place for school groups and an interactive educational experience with information about wetland ecosystems and preservation to all who drop by. Currently, there are three conference centers in Richmond Hill. The John W. Stevens Wetlands Center has the largest capacity, 140.
Richmond Hill was fortunate to receive the Coastal Incentive Grant from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), which helped to finance the Wetlands Education Center.
