Garbage Collection 

Atlantic Waste is running normal routes. Follow updates to the garbage collection schedule on their website here.

City Water Service

City of Richmond Hill's water remains safe to drink and does not need to be boiled. 

City Office Closures 

City offices are re-opening on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 8:00 am.

City Park Closures

J.F. Gregory Park is now open. The TRAIL at J.F. Gregory remains closed for the safety of our residents. 

Sterling Creek Park is still being assessed for damages and remains closed at this time.

Yard Waste/Vegetative Debris

The City began collecting vegetative debris beginning Monday, October 7, 2024. This is ONLY for vegetative debris: limbs, leaves, limbs, shrubs, etc. 

We ask that residents DO NOT block any fire hydrants, poles, mailboxes, or meters. Also, please DO NOT place debris in ditches, or on top of storm drains. 

All debris must be:

  • Less than 8' long 
  • Less than 6" in diameter
