This portal will provide a convenient way for making all submissions, revisions, updates, and inspections for permit and plans. Visit our online portal today. New payment options available through the online portal, Please review the fee schedule for online payments, including credit card payments, and the newly added eCheck option.
If you do not have access to the CivicGov portal and need to request an inspection, please call 912-756-4521 or email: inspections@richmondhill-ga.gov. Inspection requests must be made 24 hours in advance, no later than 4pm on the business day prior.
If you do not have access to the CivicGov portal and wish to submit a building permit application packet, please call 912-756-3641 or email: permitting@richmondhill-ga.gov.
For a single family and multifamily new structure, remodel or addition, use the Residential Building Permit Application (PDF) and Packet (PDF). Also, use this packet for non prefabricated residential accessory structures, residential development temporary office trailers and residential projects that have multiple sub contractors such as but not limited to: electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
For a commercial and industrial new structure, remodel or addition, use the Commercial/Industrial Building Permit Application (PDF) and Packet (PDF). Also, use this packet for non prefabricated commercial accessory structures, commercial development temporary office trailers and commercial projects that have multiple sub contractors such as but not limited to: electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
For a change of occupancy/existing building inspection, use the Limited Use Permit Application (PDF) and Packet (PDF). Also, use this packet for all prefabricated accessory structures, fences, irrigation systems, reroofing, window replacement, fire suppression/fire alarm, swimming pools, demolition (also fill out the Demolition Permit Application Packet) , sign installation (footers/electrical) and stand alone, single sub contractor work such as but not limited to: electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
If you are a homeowner and you want to do the work on your own home that you reside in, you must also fill out and submit the Owner Exemption Affidavit (PDF).
