Georgia DOT - Southeast is seeking public input on a proposed improvement project along Interstate 95 that could impact travel throughout the region.
GDOT’s PI 0020169 project proposes widening I-95 by one lane in each direction from SR 144/Ford Avenue (Exit 90) to the Savannah River (Georgia/South Carolina state line). The project is intended to help address current and future transportation needs in Bryan, Chatham, and Effingham counties.
Residents are encouraged to review the project information and submit comments. Submit your comments by: March 27, 2026.
